What does Neuronet do?
At NeuroNet, we bridge the gap between a) expensive and sometimes, unnecessary formal assessment of neurodivergent conditions or learning difficulties and b) simply not knowing how to support our neurodivergent students and children.
We provide cost effective clarity.
Our quiz allows parents and educators to determine whether a student or child has a high or low probability of either ASD, ADHD, ODD or a Learning Difficulty such as Dyslexia or Dyscalculia. In addition, we also provide strategies to support students, families and educators at home and at school. Actions that can immediately support our tamariki and students.
What do you offer that specialist teachers do not?
Currently, specialist teachers do not have access to this service. It is our hope that they will embrace what NeuroNet can offer to help them better understand the students, schools and communities they serve.
How is what you offer, different to Psychologists?
NeuroNet offers a fast and cost-effective indication of the probability that your child or student may have ADHD, ODD, ASD or a Learning Difficulty. Remember most schools and parents don’t need a formal diagnosis to get support.
Psychologists use the same criteria as NeuroNet, however, they embark on a formal assessment that is costly, with a more in depth look and analysis that provides a diagnosis that can be followed up by a referral to a psychiatrist should medication be required to support the student or child.
Will I get a formal diagnosis?
No, only a HIGH or LOW probability of the condition you are enquiring about. Only a psychologist or psychiatrist can provide a definitive diagnosis.
Can I use the outcome and recommendations from Neuronet to support my child at school?
Yes, as an educator doing the quiz, you will receive a HIGH or LOW probability outcome and additional strategies for teachers to use in the classroom and for students to adopt, in class, to make their learning experience more effective. These can be put into action immediately.
Can I use the outcome and recommendations from Neuronet to support my child at home?
Yes, as a parent, you will receive a HIGH or LOW probability outcome and additional strategies for your child to adopt at home and at school and parenting strategies which could transform your parenting relationship and outcomes with your child. These strategies are a good talking point to connect with your child’s school and encourage collaboration.
What else does neuronet offer me?

NeuroNet also has current and archived articles discussing current research and all aspects of support for our Neurodiverse community.
